Arrive in Addis Ababa and meet your guide. Begin a sightseeing tour of Ethiopia’s capital, visiting the National Museum where the famous fossil Lucy is displayed. Explore Holy Trinity Cathedral and Menelik II Mausoleum before driving through the political and cultural districts of the city. Visit local markets and experience traditional Ethiopian coffee culture, offering a perfect introduction to the country’s history and lifestyle.

Drive south through the Great Rift Valley, passing the crater lakes of Debre Zeit and the lakes of Shala, Abijata and Langano. Continue through Sidamo and Wolayta regions, visiting rural villages and farmland. Learn about local traditions and the cultivation of enset, Ethiopia’s staple food. Enjoy scenic views of Lake Abaya before reaching Arbaminch, known as the land of forty springs.
