Born and raised in Lalibela, home to the world-famous rock-hewn churches, Kenaw developed a lifelong love for heritage and storytelling from an early age. This unique upbringing inspired him to pursue a career in tourism and guiding. Kenaw studied Tourism at Lion Ethiopia Tourism College, graduating in 2013, and also studied History at St. Mary’s University. With years of hands-on experience guiding travelers across Ethiopia’s diverse regions, he built a strong reputation for professionalism, knowledge, and warm hospitality. In 2019, he founded On the Go Ethiopia Tours with the vision of offering authentic, well-organized, and meaningful travel experiences. Today, the company is dedicated to showcasing Ethiopia’s breathtaking landscapes, ancient history, rich cultures, and welcoming people to travelers from around the world.
